The leatherjacket fish or leather jack, Oligoplites saurus, is a species of jack in the family Carangidae. Leather jack may also refer to other members of the Carangidae, such as the pilot fish. The largest caught fish reported is about a foot long. Fresh Leather Jacket Fish has a distinct appearance beautiful skin and a spin on the head, they can deliver a painful sting to other fish with that.  The leatherjacket is widely known as rabbit of the sea is truly consistent, firm-grained fish. They diet on algae, crustaceans, molluscs, fish and even worms. You will find them skinned when live.
