People refer to several different species as Moon Fish. This fish is also known as pamullan as it resembles mullans with wide body shape resembling to sleeping sheets . Researchers believe that several different species exist, though they only currently recognize two species. New researches identifies  moonfish, as the first fully warm-blooded fish that circulates heated blood throughout its body much like mammals and birds, giving it a competitive advantage in the cold ocean depths. The silvery fish with black dots shaping the mullan, but bit wider. The taste is similar to mullan. They can be cooked with vinegar and can be served along with cooked rice.
